House flies are repulsive, grotesque creatures. Flies have a bad reputation for being simply gross because they land on your food and may spread diseases from their last meal. They are not appealing to look at either. But they are important for our society because they are recyclers, meaning they eat carcasses from dead animals. Maggots or fly larvae are born on a dead carcass so when they want to eat they eat the carcass. After they have eaten the carcass they turn into pupae, then in one week an adult. And that is what I learned about houseflies I hope you learned something too.
