The American robin is a grayish bird with bright reddish orange underbelly. Robins are in the thrush family of birds a medium to small bird family that eats berries and insects like beetles and worms. Robins make bowl-like nests make of mud, twigs, paper, and grass. The robins eggs are light blue and white and sometimes have black speckles. The American robin is not closely related to the European robin.

The robin is a beautiful bird. Thank you for reading what I learned about robins.
